Machine Learning Engineer

Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing Stockholm team. In this consulting role, you’ll work hands-on with machine learning projects for a wide range of clients across industries. Some projects involve training custom models from scratch, others focus on integrating state-of-the-art models into real-world applications.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both collaborative and independent settings. We value self-starters who take initiative, enjoy solving open-ended problems, and want to see their work make an impact in production environments.

As part of a tight-knit and ambitious team, you’ll have real influence – not just over technical decisions, but over the direction of our Stockholm office and the types of projects we pursue.

Responsibilities

Your work would include:

  • Analyze customer needs and translate them into technical ML system requirements
  • Design machine learning system architectures tailored to each project
  • Train, fine-tune, and evaluate ML models, including LLMs and other foundation models
  • Productionize ML models, including API development and deployment
  • Design and optimize data pipelines for training, inference and monitoring
  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure project success
  • Stay up to date with developments in the ML ecosystem and contribute to internal knowledge sharing

Background and Skills

We’re open to a wide range of backgrounds but here’s what we’re looking for in an ideal candidate:

  • Experience developing in Python, including ML frameworks like PyTorch, Scikit-learn and transformers
  • Understanding of ML workflows, from experimentation to deployment
  • Comfortable working in cloud environments (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)
  • Practical experience in software engineering, including version control, testing, and CI/CD
  • Experience with large language models (LLMs) and familiarity with building LLM-based applications
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • MSc or equivalent experience in a quantitative field – formal education is a plus, not a must
  • Professional proficiency in Swedish and English
  • Permission to work in Sweden, we will not sponsor any work visas at this time

About Us

We are a modern AI consultancy firm originally founded in Malmö, Sweden. Recently, we’ve expanded to Stockholm, where we’re building a small but ambitious team of machine learning and software engineers.

At our Stockholm office, you’ll find a high degree of autonomy, flexibility, and influence. We want your voice not only in code reviews and architecture discussions, but in shaping what our company becomes – from the types of clients we work with to how we grow our local presence.
